How far can we reach?
Posted: 21st December 2018Our posts over the last week reached 1.09k people with 515 people being reached the previous week. Our posts over the last week were engaged with 85 times which was up by 44% from the previous week. As we continue to grow our social media presence, we look forward to seeing more people engage with us! Help us to promote our website survey

We want to ensure we get feedback from the highest number of children, young people, their families and carers and professionals as we can. Website co-production opportunities
Posted: 21st December 2018In the New Year, the communications and engagement team will be visiting several groups as we look to co-produce the webpage content with children, young people, their families and carers and professionals. We have several visits planned to groups such as LGBT at Blackburn Youth Zone, and Headstart and Entwined Minds in Blackpool. As always, we’d like to gain insight from yourselves so if you know of any groups you feel would be good for us to co-produce with, please let us know! Change Talks
Posted: 31st October 2018From his experiences of working as a nurse and suffering from depression himself, Sam Tyrer decided he wanted to do something to raise awareness to tackle mental health issues facing people in Lancashire. He organised a series of ‘Change Talks’ in 2017 and has never ‘Change Talks’ in 2017 and has never looked back. “I left nursing at the start of January with the support of Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and they are helping me develop Change Talks by collaborating with their services including the Children and Young People’s Transformation Programme.

Cumbria and Lancashire Mother and Baby Unit (Ribblemere) and Outreach Service
Posted: 31st October 2018The new eight-bed mother and baby unit (Ribblemere) is set to open in October 2018 and will be an inpatient facility for mothers with serious mental health problems to access support and treatment whilst remaining alongside their babies.

We’ve also changed our Twitter name from @CYPEWMH1 to @HealthyYM_LSC to better reflect what our page is about, and link in with our brand, our website and our new Facebook page name. Emotional Health and Wellbeing Partnership
Posted: 31st October 2018Commissioned by Lancashire County Council, the Emotional Health and Wellbeing Partnership supports children and young people with low to medium-intensity mental health difficulties. Eleven agencies work in partnership to deliver a wide range of therapeutic support across the 12 Lancashire County Council Districts.

Mental Health and Wellbeing at The Rose School, Burnley
Posted: 31st October 2018The Rose is a ‘special school’ for pupils aged 11-16 with significant social, emotional and mental health issues (SEMH). They provide permanent places for over 60 pupils, many of whom have been diagnosed with autism and ADHD. The pupils suffer from higher than normal levels of stress, aggression, anxiety and depression and a small number are known to frequently abuse drugs and alcohol; several are ‘looked after’ children.
