UDevelop launch Mentor Me
28th June 2019
UDevelop has recently launched a new service in schools that helps young people engage and focus, enhances drive and provides groups with a support system during school. Mentor Me is a mentoring service for primary and secondary schools in Lancashire. They are currently running a 12-month programme with young people at Southlands High School. They have been taken on a journey and are also working towards an Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH) Understanding Health Improvement qualification to provide them with information to make informed decisions about health and also to understand that keeping healthy can affect your mind, body, soul and general performance at school and back at home.
The individuals have investigated some of their desired career goals and have been taken on trips to the BBC, Only Foals and Horses, 21 Digital, The Cottage tearoom and The Ley Inn bar and restaurant. Caroline and her team at UDevelop look forward to running ’Mentor Me’ in more schools across Lancashire.
