Bullying

Bullying can happen anywhere, be about anything and can have a big impact on how you feel. If you are being bullied or know someone who is, there are lots of resources out there to help, and please also tell an adult about what is happening, as there are things they can put into action to stop the bullying.

  • Being called names, teased or humiliated

  • Posting, commenting on or liking nasty photos, videos or posts about you online

  • Being pushed, hit or hurt

  • Having money and other possessions stolen

  • Other people spreading rumours or starting negative group chats about you

  • Being ignored, left out or made to feel like you're not wanted

  • Being threatened, intimidated or sent nasty messages

  • Trolling you or commenting on your posts or pictures saying hurtful things

  • Someone revealing personal details without your permission

  • Targeting you over and over again in an online game

  • Pressuring you to do something you do not want to do.

ZIPIT - Developed by Childline, this app offers advice and appropriate comebacks to the often-normalised sexting culture that we face.

  • Tootoot – A platform providing 24-hour support to young people who are victims of bullying and online abuse.

  • CyberBullying Hotline - A useful app that provides schools with their own unique number for students to use.
